For the comfort and convenience of our fishing clients, we have access to a camp in Pittsburg. This camp is located on Perry Stream, just minutes from the Trophy Stretch of the Connecticut River and Lake Francis. We charge $75 per night for staying at the cabin when booking a guided fishing trip. That charge is per night, NOT per person. We do not rent the camp alone without guide service. Besides myself, it can sleep up to three guests. The price includes a continental breakfast of Coffee or Tea along with whatever miscellaneous baked goods I can pick up. Please bring a sleeping bag, your own pillow and a towel since I do not provide linen service. There is electricity and we do have some modern conveniences. We have a gas oven, fridge and gas heater. There is a TV but there is no TV or radio reception (except static French Canadian), so we have a VCR if you want to bring a movie to watch at night. We do have hot and cold running water, a bathroom sink and shower. Sorry no toilet, but there is an outhouse. For those who have never been to Pittsburg before, be warned that there is no cell phone service for many miles. The camp does not have a telephone, but there is a store a short drive away with a pay phone. There are an ample number of restaurants with bars in Pittsburg, so going out to eat or drink is not a problem. Saying at fishing camp in Pittsburg is a rustic wilderness experience, if you need to be pampered with all the amenities, this isn't the place for you. Our purpose in securing this camp was to give our clients the opportunity to reserve two half days of guided fishing with only having to stay away one night. This allows you to drive up one day, fish and have enough time to drive home the next day. Of course multiple days are available if you desire.
